This 8mm film is a “day in the life” of the United States: Election Day, Nov. 3, 1992. Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush and Ross Perot were all running for President. Everything was recorded on that single day, although it was edited years later.
This was a passion project. I do short videos like this out of love. I call it Short Attention Span Theatre. No time for popcorn.
What can I say? I am a political junkie. I love history, and want to try to learn from it. Or at least pay attention.
Anti-nuclear activist Concepción Picciotto, who protested in front of the White House from 1981 until her death in 2016, is featured. She speaks timeless words of wisdom about our war machine. Things haven’t changed. Yet.
